Campagnolo Potenza 11-Speed Chainset Crank Length: 175 – Chainring Range: 52-36 – Colour: Silver. Key Features Hollow Forged Aluminium Construction 4 Arm Spider Design Power Torque+ System Chainring Range: 52/36T Approx. Weight: 771g Description Whether you are looking to upgrade to 11-speed or if you simply want to replace your current 11-speed chainset then Campagnolo Potenza is a great choice as it offers the perfect combination between performance and value. The design of the 4 arm carbon fiber chainsets that so well identify the Super Record, Record and Chorus groupsets has also found its way into this fantastic Potenza 11™ drivetrain, albeit in an aluminium construction. The Potenza chainset is made with both left and right crank arms in hollow forged aluminium to keep weight to a minimum while maintaining the same performance characteristics of its carbon fiber counterparts. Potenza’s 4 arm spider design makes for one single crankarm for all chainring options thanks to its unified bolt pattern which allows for all 3 chainring standards 53/39, 52/36 and 50/34 to be built upon the same chainset. Changing between compact and standard with the Potenza groupset is as easy as changing 8 bolts and two chainrings. While the 4-arm bolt pattern offers advantages in terms of practicality, the Campy Tech Lab designed it primarily with performance characteristics in mind. The 8 bolt pattern with a spider arm design not only holds the chainring in place by way of the bolt but also supports the chainring and in doing so, increases system rigidity to the point of surpassing its direct competitors in laboratory tests. Potenza 11 Groupset Potenza 11™, which in Italian is a noun which means strength or power, is designed around the strengths that made its higher tier Revolution 11+ brethren so successful: lightning fast shifting, embrace technology, fantastic ergonomics, Campagnolo performance and reliability. Campagnolo doesn’t produce different degrees of performance. There is a standard Campagnolo performance that is a prerequisite for any product that bears the iconic Italian name and the Potenza 11™ groupset is a prime example of the high standards required for their componentry. The highest-tier aluminium groupset available offers the same race-winning shifting performance as its carbon fiber counterparts seen atop professional riders’ bikes. For the most part the only differences between the two are represented by slight changes in the material used in their construction. About Campagnolo Founded in 1933 by Commendatore Tullio Campagnolo, the Italian company began in Vicenza, where its headquarters still are to this day. The company soon expanded, focusing on the three fundamental concepts that would also characterise its future – performance, technological innovation, and quality of products and services. Campagnolo products have become the benchmark for design, testified by the prestigious Compasso d’Oro award from the Associazione Design Italiano in recognition of the Veloce groupset, Ergopower integrated controls and Shamal high-profile wheels. Campagnolo is not only a star of the cycling world, but of sport in general, as recognized by the Wall Street Journal which has named it as one of the most prominent sports brands in the world. This reputation has been earned not only through its countless racing successes, but also by virtue of the attention given to quality and to service that sets this company apart from all others.
